Race to End COVID-19 event to take place June 4-5

Kansas Speedway is offering laps on its track for people participating in the Race to End COVID-19 event from June 4 to 5. Speedway officials said fans who get a free COVID-19 test and / or a COVID-19 vaccine on these days can take the opportunity to take two laps around the fast lane. Tours are available on a first come, first served basis and the event takes place on June 4 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and June 5 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. open to all ages. Enter via France Family Drive, near Sporting KC Stadium across from the Nebraska Furniture Mart. All vaccinees will be asked to review educational material on COVID-19 vaccines and sign a consent form. Participants in laps must have a valid driver’s license, registration in their name and proof of vehicle insurance.
