Northern Veszprém transport routes renewed for HUF 3 billion

The transport routes of the northern industrial zone of Veszprém (115 km southwest of Budapest) have been renewed for more than HUF 3 billion, city mayor Gyula Porga said upon closing of the project, according to profitline .hu.
Porga stressed that an essential part of the city’s long-term transport concept was the development of the infrastructure of the northern industrial zone, which would make it easier for thousands of workers from Veszprém and the surrounding area to get to the city. job.
In the first phase of development, the Pápa and Házgyári roads were connected for HUF 618 million, as well as the development of sidewalks, parking lots and cycle paths. In the second, a ring road was built for HUF 1.262 billion.
After that, a complete reconstruction of the roadway was carried out at Kistó utca and a 700-meter section of Pápai út, for HUF 149.5 million and over HUF 1.161 billion, respectively.
