SEPTA will organize a virtual commercial workshop “Opportunities in transport”
In partnership with the Philadelphia cream Minority Business Development Week (MED), SEPTA is organizing a virtual business workshop, “Opportunities in transport”. The session will take place on Tuesday, October 5 from noon to 1:30 p.m. and present representatives from SEPTA, the Port of Philadelphia and the Enterprise Center’s Small Business Transportation Resource Center.
The subjects will include how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected businesses; how diverse small businesses can position themselves to be successful; and youupcoming projects and contract opportunities.
“SEPTA shares the city’s goal of achieving a fair and inclusive recovery,” SEPTA Managing Director and CEO Leslie S. Richards said in a statement. “We are committed to promoting business opportunities for local, small, disadvantaged, minority and women owned businesses. ”
Each year, MED Week highlights minority businesses and the resources that help them grow.
